Refreshing Summer Practices

Summer is the time to indulge in taking your time...

It's very important to literally chill-out and air-out during summer.

  1. Create space + openness

  2. Build-in time for slowing down

  3. Get quiet

  4. Add reflection

  5. Spend time in Nature

Slowing down is not synonymous with being unproductive.

It's okay (and necessary) to dial it down in summer, so that you don't burn yourself out.

How can you REFRESH with cooling practices ... and not simply look forward to a vacation (where you finally get the chance to relax)?

RELAXATION is an integral part of a Refreshing Summer.

Bring relaxation techniques into your daily life in order to enjoy this beautiful season.

Tips for creating more space, joy, + solace during hot weather:

  • Enjoy the sunset...

  • Spend time at the beach...

  • Take early morning walks...

  • Read outside, under a tree, or in your backyard...

  • Feel the cool grass under your feet...

  • Commute in silence...

  • Take a longer lunch…

  • Space out work meetings...

  • Go for a fun drive...

  • Eat meals outside...

  • Wash your feet, in cool water, before bed...
