Refreshing Summer Practices

Updated: Mar 4

Summer is the time to indulge in taking your time...

It's very important to literally chill-out and air-out during Summer.

  1. Create space + openness

  2. Build-in time for slowing down

  3. Get quiet

  4. Add reflection

  5. Spend time in Nature

Slowing down is not synonymous with being unproductive.

It's okay (and necessary) to dial it down in Summer, so that you don't burn yourself out.

How can you REFRESH each day with cooling practices ... and not simply look forward to a vacation (when you finally get a chance to relax)?

RELAXATION is an integral part of a Refreshing Summer.

What type of slowness can you bring into your Summer Routine?

Make space for joy + solace during hot weather:

  • Enjoy the sunset...

  • Spend time a the beach...

  • Read outside or in your backyard...

  • Feel cool grass under your feet...

  • Commute in silence...

  • Take a longer lunch…

  • Space out your work meetings...

  • Go for a fun drive...

  • Eat meals outside...

  • Wash your feet in cool water before bed...

  • Bring relaxation into your daily life and enjoy this season!
