The Elements of Fall

Updated: Mar 4

And just like that ...

We are in the season of Fall.

Not only is Fall the season of giving thanks — it is also the season of Letting Go.

The question naturally arises: How do you incorporate lifestyle changes alongside seasonal changes?

One way to navigate the seasons is through foods + routines.

Ayurveda — India's ancient medical science, rooted in holistic wellness practices, recommends alleviating the drying + erratic winds of autumn (which can incite restlessness + anxiety) with grounding qualities that are warm + moist.

Consider Changing Foods

Fall Herbs + Spices

  • cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, clove, tulsi tea

Foods to favor

  • apples, cranberries, dates, beets, oats, avocado

Try to reduce

  • caffeine, raw foods, popcorn
